It's one in the morning. I'm pretty sure I'm keeping my room mate up again. I feel sorry for the poor guy. Every day I'm reading or writing until some ungodly hour and he tries to get to bed about eleven, at the latest. Who's bright idea was it to put a Vet student in with a historian, anyway?

Oh well. I have to admit there's a major part of me that kind of relishes the idea of making another guy's life hell. What can I say? I guess I just want to effect other people any way I can. I've known for a long time that I'm not actually a terribly nice person in a lot of ways, so it's not like it's news to me. I've made my peace...

Amyway, by means of introductions and clarifications for anyone who might happen to read this, hi - I'm Alex. I got referred to this place and lurked for a while before deciding to sign up in the hopes that it would induce me to devote more of my time to creative pursuits than I currently do. I'm eighteen, I study history. I spend most of my free time reading or playing guitar. My greatest love right now is coffee. No, really. You might think that makes me very miserable, but most of the time it doesn't. I have faith something or somebody will ocme along to inspire me before too long, and until then coffee will have to do.

Anyway, I don't have a whole lot to say other than that right now. Hopefully I'll have something more interesting soon.
